A traditional fabric from the Mirgan Community of Kotpad Village in Koraput, Odisha, which was the first to receive the GI tag in 2005, also known for its beautiful vegetable dyed colours.

Pictured here is a "Kasabandi" Saree, a unique style where the body and the anchal (the decorative end of the Saree) are woven separately and then joined together. This particular piece is adorned with intricate motifs of temples, tortoises, birds and fish, all developed with extra wefts.
